Center for innovation

Innovation, support, projects

The The InnoSportLab, located in ‘De Plek’ in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, is the center for innovation in gymnastics in the Netherlands. Since 2016, it is a SportInnovator Center. About 30 gymnastic disciplines, both recreational and elite sports, are training in ‘De Plek’ which include the National Team of Men’s Artistic Gymnastics (MAG) and the National Team of Trampoline Gymnastics. The InnoSportLab innovates in gymnastics and supports the gymnasts, in both recreational and elite sports, in reaching their goals.

Our strength …

is particularly monitoring and guiding at a high-quality level in (top) sports practice, for example by measuring equipment, sports materials and athletes, to answer questions from the sport. For example, the lab has a unique international cooperation with the European (UEG) and World Turn Federation (FIG) to support the athletes and judges during major competitions.

Furthermore, the lab has a lot of expertise in the field of direct feedback, video-acquisition, analysis and processing to support athletes during their training and competitions.

The high-quality technical infrastructure of the lab (with a network of dozens of cameras, computers and touch screens on 3 floors in 6 training halls) enables 24/7 measurements and support from anywhere in the world.
