
The German Research Institute Institut für Angewandte Trainingswissenschaft (IAT) payed a visit to the InnoSportLab in Den Bosch from Thursday the 24th to Sunday the 27th October. The occassion for the visit was a jointly international gymnastic research project. This project was executed during the last World Championships Artistic Gymnastics from 3 until 13 Oktober in Stuttgart. Researcher Christian Merz of the IAT was here for consultation, exchange of data and he visited the producer of gymnastic equipment Janssen-Fritsen and saw the Brabant Trophy.
International research project
ISLDB was one of the five parties who submitted a research project to the international gymnastic federation, FIG, at the end of 2018. The goals was to do an in-competition research of several gymnastic categories during the WC in Stuttgart. The data and results will be exchanged between the members of the research teams and plans will be made for a jointly publication of the results.
Visits
The visit at the producer of gymnastic equipment Janssen-Fritsen was planned on Friday afternoon in Helmond. During the VIP-program of the Brabant Trophy was a network meeting and after that the games have been be watched.
Continuation
During the short visit appointments have been made to give further substance to the collaboration of the jointly gymnastics research. A delegation of more people of the IAT will vist the InnoSportLab in Den Bosch in the spring of 2020.
